Note: This was the single biggest problem-solving piece I’ve worked on, which involved several skills ranking from UX writing and data analysis to information architecture and project management. This project laid the foundation for several new features that were added at later stages.
Company: Kolabtree, a London-based open talent platform that helps businesses hire freelance scientists.
My role: Content designer and strategist
The challenge: Reduce form abandonment rates by making it more intuitive and empathetic
The solution and my contribution:
As project owner, I put together a plan along with all stakeholders involved, with timelines and priorities. As content strategist, I used video recordings and heatmaps to analyze the end-to-end journey, causes for form abandonment and uncover user pain points. I worked with several teams to make refinements in the structure, copy and design. Through carefully crafted copy, journey mapping, and multiple rounds of testing, we achieved a form that gently guided the user through to the last step.
We built a solid foundation, ready for future features and improvements.
