The Tap is an idea boutique, a stick figure comic strip, a treasure trove of stories. It’s a space for me to translate all my experiences and ideas into words and pictures. My comics aim to not just depict the little things that make life so wonderful, such as that perfect cup of chai, but also touch upon themes such as mental health, body positivity, inclusion and women empowerment.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to have chalked out a unique and soul-satisfying path for myself. I’ve worked in publishing, advertising, creative communications and digital marketing. Get in touch for copywriting, content writing and illustration projects — or write in to just to say hi 🙂
I’m always willing to take on work related to social causes and enterprises.
I was born and brought up in India. I currently live in Cambridge and have been exploring the beautiful English countryside for the last 3 years.
A book of my verse was published by the late Professor P Lal of Writers Workshop India. I write poems here.

  11. Ramya, I just scrolled through your post on the return to India and I couldn’t help holding my tears back! So so so so well expressed and it seems like you have taken the words out of my mouth because I feel all those pointers you have mentioned in terms of why you love our country. I am in New Zealand on a work visa and I intend to return to India too the next year because chaos for me is beautiful and it depends on person to person what they define as beautiful. For me, it’s the imperfections that make me feel alive. I loved your work and I will share this with all those whom I could not explain why is my intended return so purposeful. Thanks! Love, Sneha
